Requirements
  • Completed vocational training and initial professional experience in direct customer contact.
  • Very good German language skills at a minimum B2 level.
  • Reliability, a sense of responsibility, and resilience under stress.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Germany and stay overnight away from home.
  • Availability for shift work, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Responsibilities
  • Complete the six-month career-change training program for the train conductor profession.
  • Monitor the safe transportation of passengers along the entire route.
  • Serve as a point of contact for passengers and provide onboard service.
  • Check tickets and support ticket sales on the train.
  • Accompany shunting and the coupling and uncoupling of the carriage fleet.
  • Independently perform technical checks, including rolling-stock inspections and brake tests.
  • Help create a positive travel experience for passengers.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of service and operational processes.
  • Complete a railway medical fitness examination before performing the role.
