About the job
- A minimum Diploma in Business, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is required.
- Experience in billing within the freight forwarding or logistics industry is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with CargoWise and data entry is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required.
- Strong typing speed and excellent attention to detail and accuracy are required.
- Fluency in spoken and written English, Malay, and Mandarin is required to support customers and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, perform well under pressure, and work collaboratively is required.
- Entitlement to work in Malaysia is required.
- Willingness to undertake pre-employment checks, including a criminal history check and medical, is required.
- Process billing accurately in accordance with the Billing Standard Operating Procedures.
- Generate and process customer billings using the CargoWise system.
- Validate rate cards against system rates to ensure billing accuracy.
- Enter and maintain operational data accurately.
- Respond promptly to billing and information queries and communicate with stakeholders via email.
- Review completed work to identify and correct discrepancies before submission.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer and company information.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance billing processes.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Team Leader or Manager.
