Requirements
  • Three to five years of experience supporting high-throughput, low-latency infrastructure for GPU-based or high-performance computing clusters.
  • Eight to twelve or more years of experience in networking, often including at least five years in globally distributed environments.
  • Experience with multi-region or multi-continent backbone networks, transit and peering, and high-availability design at Internet scale.
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale routing, including Border Gateway Protocol and Multiprotocol Label Switching, automation at scale, and often software-defined networking or custom orchestration frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of Border Gateway Protocol, Ethernet Virtual Private Network, Virtual Extensible LAN, and Data Centre Interconnects.
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes networking and container-based infrastructure, including container network interfaces such as Calico and Cilium.
  • Confidence working in Linux command-line environments, with scripting and diagnostics.
  • Experience with Ansible and Python; familiarity with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools is listed as a plus.
  • Comfort explaining complex networking concepts to customers and internal stakeholders, from engineers to executives.
  • Hands-on experience in Layer 3 and Layer 4 support within production environments, driving root-cause analysis and preventative measures.
  • Strong commitment to code quality, peer reviews, change control, and infrastructure versioning.
  • Experience with Mellanox Ethernet switches running Cumulus Linux.
  • Experience with Juniper PTX core routers and SRX firewalls.
Responsibilities
  • Design scalable leaf-spine networks using Mellanox switches with Cumulus Linux, integrated with Juniper PTX routers and SRX firewalls.
  • Lead third-party and internal provider collaboration to deploy resilient site-to-site and Internet connectivity, optimize topology, and resolve complex faults.
  • Perform configuration, upgrades, and deep troubleshooting of Juniper and NVIDIA/Cumulus devices in production environments.
  • Implement programmable, controller-based software-defined networking designs to support automation and scalability.
  • Support networking within container platforms using container network interfaces such as Calico, Cilium, and Kube-OVN.
  • Understand microservices traffic patterns and service mesh integrations.
  • Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and Python automation for configuration management, provisioning, and compliance, including work against network-equipment application programming interfaces.
  • Implement observability using Simple Network Management Protocol, sFlow, and gRPC to detect and address network bottlenecks at scale.
  • Lead Layer 3 and Layer 4 network incident response, escalation management, and root-cause analysis in high-pressure, 24-by-7 production environments.
  • Engage directly with internal stakeholders and enterprise customers as a trusted technical expert, presenting solutions and troubleshooting across the organization.
  • Promote and uphold best practices in configuration management, change control, documentation, and continuous improvement.
Desired Qualifications
  • Industry certifications such as JNCIE, CCIE, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with network security frameworks and best practices.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud and cloud connectivity solutions, such as AWS or Azure Direct Connect.
  • Exposure to observability platforms and time-series databases, such as Grafana, Prometheus, or InfluxDB.

Radiant builds and operates utility-scale AI infrastructure to deliver sovereign AI cloud compute through owned data centers, long-term capital, and proprietary software. It runs AI factories that provide scalable, resilient compute for governments, enterprises, and telecom providers, enabling rapid deployment of AI workloads at scale. After merging with Ori Industries, Radiant integrates distributed AI software with its hardware to form a global AI utility that lowers energy costs and reduces dependence on centralized clouds. Its goal is to create a secure, scalable AI platform that serves distributed locations worldwide, balancing land, capital, and software to support large-scale AI applications.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Reuters reported a $1.3 billion valuation on February 27, 2026, signaling investor confidence.
  • Radiant secured contract lengths beyond five years, stabilizing revenue visibility.
  • NVIDIA DSX and Brookfield's renewable grid access speed deployment and lower power costs.

What critics are saying

  • Radiant lacks disclosed customers, so Brookfield carries heavy concentration risk from launch onward.
  • CoreWeave, Lambda, and hyperscalers can outspend Radiant before 2027 on GPUs.
  • If Brookfield's $100 billion program stalls, Radiant becomes a stranded-capital experiment.

What makes Radiant unique

  • Brookfield launched Radiant on February 24, 2026, with land, power, and capital.
  • Radiant pairs Ori's distributed software with utility-scale AI factories across 20-plus data centers.
  • It sells sovereign compute under long-term contracts, unlike spot-market GPU rental providers.
