Contract Services Inspector

Performs regular scheduled and unscheduled inspections of contractors that provide janitorial, landscaping, industrial waste and related contracts to verify service levels are adequate and in accordance with contract specifications.Education, Experience and Training:

Graduation from an accredited high school/GED Program. Three (3) years work related experience or 45 hours of college or a combination of the two.

Special Requirements/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License, with a good driving record, and pass a security clearance check.

Physical/Environmental Requirements:

Ability to traverse various sites without restrictions in order to inspect contractor compliance.1. Performs scheduled and unscheduled inspections of areas serviced by janitorial and other contractors to verify that services are performed in accordance with contract specifications.

2. Documents non-compliance of contractual agreements and provides written reports to the Contracts Manager regarding findings.

3. Reviews contract specifications, assists Contracts Manager in investigating bidder qualifications, and makes suggestions for improvement of service levels.

4. Assists the Contracts Manager in verifying contract payments.

5. Performs other duties as assigned.
