About the job

Requirements
  • Significant experience owning technically complex products across identity, authentication, authorization, developer platforms, or infrastructure.
  • A track record of setting product direction in ambiguous problem spaces, aligning teams around a clear strategy, and turning that strategy into shipped products.
  • Strong knowledge of modern identity systems and open standards, including OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, SCIM, passkeys, service accounts, roles, permissions, and policy-based access control.
  • Technical fluency, including programming experience and the ability to engage credibly with engineers on platform architecture, APIs, data models, security boundaries, and identity protocols.
  • Strong product sense and systems thinking, including prioritizing across authentication, authorization, and identity needs while building simple primitives for scale and sophisticated use cases.
  • Ability to navigate difficult tradeoffs, explain options and consequences clearly, and help teams reach informed decisions.
  • A deep appreciation for the needs of personal and enterprise users, including both builders configuring identity and end users interacting with Lovable-built apps.
Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of identity needs across existing Lovable-built apps and the more than one million new apps created every week.
  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for authentication, authorization, and identity, making deliberate tradeoffs between immediate user needs and durable platform foundations.
  • Define standards-based primitives for users, organizations, agents, roles, permissions, policies, sessions, and delegated access that can scale across a vast and varied application ecosystem.
  • Shape a smooth identity experience for builders configuring their apps and the people using those apps.
  • Partner closely with engineering to balance the needs of individual builders and enterprise organizations, preserving Lovable’s simplicity while building a scalable foundation.
  • Define how AI agents and other non-human identities authenticate, receive authority, act on behalf of users, and remain understandable and controllable.
  • Own identity and access needs for programmatic use of Lovable across API, CLI, SDK, and MCP surfaces.
  • Ship an appropriate slice of functionality, validate it through user feedback and metrics, and cut what does not work.
  • Partner with engineering to shape and deliver a multi-tenant identity service built on open standards that supports authentication and authorization across millions of applications and provides a durable foundation for Lovable.

About the company

Lovable enables people to build and ship web applications from natural-language prompts (vibe-coding) without writing code. Users describe their needs in plain language and the platform generates, deploys, and hosts the app, handling hosting and delivery. The product targets non-technical users and teams, with a multi-region platform designed for production-ready apps and large traffic, serving customers like Adidas, Nvidia, Deutsche Telekom and Zendesk. The goal is to democratize app creation at scale by turning natural-language prompts into deployable software and expanding the platform with broader features and regional teams.

Lovable opens London office with 70 staff, targets 100 by December after $400M raise

Lovable, the Swedish vibe coding platform, has opened its first London office with 70 people and aims to reach 100 by December. It is the company's second engineering, product, and design hub after Stockholm. The move comes as Cursor, Anthropic, and OpenAI also expand in London, which makes hiring competitive. Lovable plans around 450 employees in total, so a 100-strong London team would be about 22% of the workforce. The office includes the team from Radish AI, which Lovable recently acquired to strengthen its agents and infrastructure offering. Lovable raised $400 million at a $13.3 billion valuation on August 12, led by Menlo Ventures and EQT's Scaleup Europe Fund. Chief executive officer Anton Osika has said staying out of Silicon Valley was a deliberate choice.

Goldhirsh Foundation returns to LA Tech Week for the fourth year, partnering with Pledge and Lovable to build for social impact.

Goldhirsh Foundation returns to LA Tech Week for the fourth year, partnering with Pledge and Lovable to build for social impact. Posted October 27, 2026 When the night began, Youth Justice Coalition's Free LA High School didn't have direct enrollment. Now, it does - and it only took an hour and the creativity of a few Angelenos who had just met. Fresh off the heels of the 2026 LA2050 Grantee Showcase, Goldhirsh Foundation held its fifth LA Tech Week event in four years, this time at the headquarters of LA2050 Grants Challenge funding partner, the Fox Foundation, on October 15, 2026. Goldhirsh Foundation and LA2050 joined together with longtime partner Pledge, and first-time partner Lovable, for "Build a Better LA," a social impact connection-building event designed to foster collaboration between people from the nonprofit sector and people who work in tech. Nearly 200 professionals - including the Free LA High School team - gathered in an unseasonably balmy Santa Monica for a night of networking, tacos, and real-time creating. As guests arrived, they donned color-coded nametags indicating their issue areas of interest, such as climate and environment, arts and culture, health and wellness, and more. They then gathered by issue area to connect around their shared passions. After an enthusiastic networking session, it was time to build. Goldhirsh Foundation's president Tara Roth welcomed guests. "Each season we set out to introduce people from the nonprofit sector to people from the technology sector, and vice versa," said Roth, mentioning the Foundation's work providing nonprofit AI training, and shouting out dataland founder Refik Anadol, whom the Foundation's LA2050 initiative featured earlier this year in its "What Do You Say, LA?" campaign. Pledge CEO James Citron then formally kicked off the main event of the evening, discussing Pledge's dedication to supporting nonprofits with funding and tech, as he brought out Mallory Contois and Fernanda Chouza from Lovable. Together, Contois and Chouza announced the new Pledge connector on Lovable's platform, which allows innovators with a passion for social good to build Pledge donation hubs directly onto their Lovable apps and platforms. The two walked attendees through their next hour: after being grouped via color-coded name tag, attendees would work together to build apps on the Pledge connector, competing to win one of the three $1,000 prizes at the end of the night. After a busy building session, each team presented their Pledge connector prototype. Several of the groups developed sites based on their designated issue area, such as a Neighborhood Porch app, connecting neighbors to volunteer opportunities and local greening locations, and a discreet Beacon of Hope app, supporting individuals experiencing domestic violence while disguised as a gardening tracker. Some of the groups built platforms expressly for one of the group members' nonprofits, such as multi-time LA2050 Grants Challenge winner Defy Ventures' Defy the Odds platform, designed to do the heavy lifting for an upcoming fund drive, or LA2050 grantee Makers Hub's digital Makers Hub, allowing customers and creators to operate and book classes out of a central platform. At the end of the night, Citron announced the three winning groups, using Lovable to create a slide deck announcement within one minute of presentations. In third place was the Defy the Odds platform, which ranked an 8/10 for creativity, and a 10/10 for fundraising. In second was the Beacon of Hope app, ranking at an 8/10 for creativity as well, plus a 10/10 for impact. And first place went to the Free LA platform, hosted by Youth Justice Coalition, at a 10/10 for impact, and an 8/10 for fundraising. In 2013, YJC turned a former juvenile prison into a school; the platform they built on Lovable will allow students to enroll directly into Free LA High School and Chuco's Justice Center - and provide the option to donate directly to Free LA to outright purchase the building from the county. Tech leaders say repeatable sales, not fast early revenue, signal startup readiness to scale

At TechCrunch Disrupt, Lovable's go-to-market lead Luke Arno, Polsia's Ben Broca, and Theory Ventures' Tomasz Tunguz said early revenue alone does not show a startup is ready to scale. In the AI era, startups can reach high annual recurring revenue (ARR) and then crash within months. Arno said founders should first learn where their customers are. A startup is ready to build a sales team only when it can win new customers by repeating what has worked, he said. "If I bring three customers in with a similar motion to solve a similar problem, now I have high confidence that I can go scale." Tunguz said growth like Lovable's, valued at more than $13 billion with ARR above $600 million, remains the exception. Broca urged founders to keep talking to customers.

Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy signs two MoUs to accelerate the adoption of agentic AI in the private sector

Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy signs two MoUs to accelerate the adoption of agentic AI in the private sector Dubai, October 19 /WAM/ - The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, signed two memoranda of understanding with Nebius Academy, the education and training arm of Nebius, a company specializing in cloud computing services for AI with a market value exceeding $63 billion, and Lovable, the leading software development platform. The aim is to accelerate the Dubai private sector's adoption of agentic AI solutions, helping raise companies' productivity and enhance their operational efficiency. The two MoUs come within the framework of the agentic AI transformation program for Dubai's private sector, launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, last May. Dubai Chambers oversees its implementation and, under the program, has launched specialized training tracks aimed at enabling and training 14,000 companies from the members of business groups and councils affiliated with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce to use agentic AI technologies in their administrative and operational processes. Saeed Al Qarqawi, Vice President of the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, said: We are committed to enhancing the understanding of Dubai's private sector companies of agentic AI technologies and how to use them effectively, thereby supporting their digital ambitions, opening new horizons for growth and enhancing their competitiveness. Through this cooperation, we look forward to contributing to building a more innovative, resilient and future-ready business community by providing specialized knowledge and expertise, supporting startups in developing agentic AI solutions and reaching markets, and encouraging the business community to adopt such advanced solutions that enhance operational efficiency and help raise productivity. The MoU with Nebius Academy enables companies operating in Dubai to benefit from specialized training programs for leaders in AI and agentic AI and to develop their expertise in this field through the Dubai Chambers Academy, an integrated digital platform that provides specialized agentic AI training tracks for the private sector, along with a package of diverse training programs covering a wide range of fields. Raja Agrawal, Vice President of Nebius for the Middle East and Africa, said that through our cooperation with the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, Nebius Academy will help provide companies in Dubai with practical knowledge that enables them to move from understanding agentic AI to applying it effectively in their daily operations. While agentic AI has great potential to fundamentally transform the way companies work, innovate and grow, seizing this opportunity requires more than just making technology available; it requires having the right skills and capabilities. We are proud of our contribution to Dubai's ambition to enhance the private sector's future readiness and to support the development of AI capabilities that will form the foundation for the next generation of business innovation. The MoU with Nebius Academy also includes the provision and licensing of training content, the issuance of accredited certificates, the organization of technical workshops and specialized sessions supervised by expert specialists, as well as trainer preparation programs and access to learning platforms and related resources for executive leaders, technical teams and employees of companies that are members of Dubai Chambers. The MoU with Lovable aims to accelerate the adoption of agentic AI in Dubai's private sector by building capacities and training. Under it, the company will support entrepreneurship and skills development programs designed for companies and founders in the emirate, including access to its platform and educational resources, and participation in organizing events and joint workshops. Dubai Chambers will facilitate communication between Lovable and its member companies and partners. Within the cooperation framework, Lovable will provide credits for use of its platform, funded by Dubai Chambers, to participants in the Agentic AI Challenge, in support of founders and companies in building and applying agentic AI solutions. Lauren Rudd, Chief Revenue Officer at Lovable, said that agentic AI enables anyone with an idea to turn it into reality, and we are pleased to support more founders and companies in Dubai and provide them with the tools needed to launch what they create and manage their businesses, starting with the teams participating in the Agentic AI Challenge. The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy continues its efforts to support the growth of Dubai's digital economy and accelerate the emirate's transformation into one of the world's leading digital economies, in line with the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, while the signing of the two MoUs comes within the Chamber's efforts to enhance the private sector's competitiveness, support its readiness to benefit from future technologies, and consolidate Dubai's position as a global center for the digital economy. - Economy - Science and technology - United Arab Emirates (ARE) - Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy - Nebius - Dubai Chambers Academy The news is also available in the following languages:
