A degree in engineering or construction management from an accredited college or university is required.
A minimum of 1–3 years of experience in the commercial construction industry is required.

Responsibilities
Assist in leading the project team by managing information, establishing expectations, and maintaining quality and cost effectiveness across the project.
Solicit vendors for pricing and recommend contract awards.
Assemble and prepare complete estimates, perform quantity takeoffs and bid evaluations, and clarify specific information and assumptions.
Prepare accurate and concise contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
Follow up on and review subcontractor submittals to verify conformance with contract documents.
Identify business development opportunities, conduct follow-up calls on bids, and help negotiate and close deals.
Handle multiple projects simultaneously at various stages and locations while applying knowledge of construction trades.
