About the Job

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of B2B/SaaS sales experience, including end-to-end ownership of a named strategic account list across sales, expansion, and renewal.
  • Demonstrated success selling to and maintaining long-term relationships with Fortune 500 or large-enterprise HR, Benefits, and Total Rewards leaders.
  • Experience working with brokers or consultants in a benefits or similarly regulated, cyclical buying environment.
  • A proven record of defending and growing revenue at renewal, not only winning net-new logos.
  • Ability to partner with technical or implementation specialists on delivery without micromanaging the work or disengaging from the account.
  • Ability to operate credibly with VP- and C-level stakeholders in Fortune 500 organizations.
  • Forecasting discipline across new bookings, enrollment health, and renewal or expansion pipelines.
  • Experience with CRM and account-planning tools such as Salesforce, Gainsight, or similar.
  • A record of top performance in both new-business and account-growth motions, such as President's Club, Rep of the Year, or equivalent recognition.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full lifecycle—prospecting, closing, onboarding, enrollment, expansion, and renewal—for a fixed list of 25–50 named Fortune 500 accounts.
  • Build and maintain a strategic account plan for every named account, whether a prospect or an existing client.
  • Run complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles with HR, Benefits, Total Rewards, Finance, Procurement, Legal, and broker or consultant partners at Fortune 500 companies.
  • Partner with the Implementation/Technical team on closed deals to ensure clean, on-time onboarding while remaining the accountable executive owner of the relationship.
  • Own post-launch enrollment outcomes by working with employer HR/Comms teams and Wagmo Marketing to drive employee awareness and adoption during open enrollment windows.
  • Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing book, including new product lines, expanded eligible populations, and additional coverage tiers.
  • Own account renewals by identifying risk early, building the business case for continued or expanded investment, and leading renewal negotiations.
  • Serve as the senior, trusted point of contact for named accounts throughout the lifecycle, including at the executive level.
  • Forecast and report across new bookings, enrollment/adoption health, and renewal/expansion pipelines.
  • Collaborate with Implementation, Partner/Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Finance to ensure named accounts succeed before and after sale.
  • Lead RFP/RFI responses and renewal negotiations with the same rigor as new-business pursuits.
