About the job
- Demonstrate essential abilities including communication, customer focus, and decision making.
- Have basic agronomy knowledge and skills, including insect, weed, and disease identification and fertility.
- Have a strong understanding of crop protection products, including adjuvants, pesticides, micronutrients, stabilizers, and fungicides.
- Have financial knowledge, including the ability to read and understand financial statements.
- Be able and willing to work long hours and be on call as business conditions warrant.
- Have direct experience within the crop protection industry.
- Have a bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience involving a two-year college or technical school and two years of related experience and/or training.
- Have a valid driver's license and meet a Motor Vehicle Review in accordance with company policy.

- Project a positive attitude to customers, vendors, and employees.
- Meet crop protection business goals.
- Collaborate with Region Directors and Sales Leads on crop protection product planning and growth opportunities.
- Assist Region Directors and Sales Leads in developing short- and long-term plans for the regions.
- Communicate crop protection product inventory levels, trends, and forecast updates to the regions.
- Assist Region Directors and Sales Leads with creating and maintaining six-, 12-, and 18-month forecasts.
- Develop and foster relationships between agronomy locations and crop protection product manufacturers.
- Communicate with the procurement team and local team to ensure the proper margin opportunity is captured.
- Travel within the Keystone market at least 60% of the time.
