Requirements
  • Completed railway-operations training and several years of professional experience as a locomotive driver are required.
  • Experience as a trainer, instructor, or examiner is advantageous; alternatively, the candidate should be motivated to share knowledge and develop into the role.
  • The candidate should communicate effectively and enjoy guiding people in a practical setting and explaining knowledge clearly.
  • The candidate should show initiative, work in a structured manner, and be willing to continuously learn new topics.
  • The candidate should be willing to conduct training primarily along the FLX10 route (Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Frankfurt, and Stuttgart).
Responsibilities
  • Deliver varied theoretical and practical training and support locomotive drivers and train attendants as they prepare for railway operations.
  • Work with the trainer team to take responsibility for training modules suited to individual strengths and deliver training with personal autonomy.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of training materials, learning concepts, and processes, and support the expansion of digital learning formats.
  • Accompany colleagues during practical trips, refresher training, and qualification measures in day-to-day operations to ensure knowledge is conveyed sustainably.
  • Travel to training locations and collaborate closely with the team.
