Responsibilities
  • Lead the Productivity Squad: This team focuses on products and features that make our customers more productive in their daily lives. The team will build collaboration, AI automation, and productivity features within the OpenPhone platform.
  • Driving strategic initiatives: Work cross-functionally to align engineering efforts with business goals, ensuring that our solutions meet customer needs and enhance overall productivity.
  • Manage people: Guide and mentor engineers, foster a collaborative environment focused on continuous learning, manage performance, and support professional growth.
  • Technical guidance: Ensure the team has what it needs to make technical decisions, provide guidance on those decisions, ensure clarity of the problem space, and empower the team to own their decisions.
  • Enhancing products: Collaborate closely with product managers to drive enhancements in inbox views, workspaces, user experience, and AI-driven automation features.
  • Integrating AI: Spearhead the integration of AI technologies, including analyzing call transcripts and implementing intelligent tagging systems to optimize our product offerings.
