About the job
- Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture, enterprise integration, and middleware concepts.
- Hands-on experience designing IBM DataPower integration solutions.
- Strong knowledge of XML, XML Schema Definition, Web Services Description Language, Simple Object Access Protocol, Representational State Transfer APIs, and Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations.
- Experience designing DataPower services such as Multi-Protocol Gateway, Web Service Proxy, and XML Firewall.
- Good understanding of security concepts including OAuth, Secure Sockets Layer/Transport Layer Security, Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting, and certificate management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attend business and technical meetings to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Perform technical feasibility assessments and propose the optimal integration solution in alignment with the core team.
- Prepare High-Level Design and Low-Level Design documents according to defined standards.
- Design secure, scalable, and high-performing integration solutions using IBM DataPower.
- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Collaborate with business, architecture, development, quality assurance, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Experience in the telecom domain.
- Exposure to IBM API Connect or other API Management platforms.
