- Apply and supervise safety rules according to company policies and applicable regulations.
- Lead the Quality Team by managing priorities, removing bottlenecks, and addressing critical issues to ensure maximum production efficiency.
- Coordinate internal resources to identify and resolve nonconformities, act as process owner, suggest corrective and preventive actions, and ensure appropriate communication with customers and internal functions.
- Lead implementation of and ensure compliance with the integrated system of company procedures and standards, suggesting improvements where appropriate.
- Propose relevant changes to continuous improvement processes, methods, and quality control practices according to customer and internal standards.
- Verify quality reports and report issues to the Plant Manager when necessary.
- Plan and ensure implementation of internal audits to meet ISO standards and food safety certifications.
- Ensure correct execution of the quality control plan for new and existing products, supporting the team with measurement activities when necessary.
- Ensure correct calibration of all laboratory instruments through internal control plans, using internal and external resources.
- Ensure proper management of incoming raw materials.
- Support industrialization of new products and implementation of processes or materials, supervising process performance.
