Production Supervisor - Electrician
About the job
- At least 3 years of manufacturing experience.
- A journeyman or master electrician license.
- A strong understanding of production processes, quality control requirements, and safety regulations.

- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds; frequently sit, stand, and walk within the plant; and climb, balance, squat, kneel, and crouch.
- Ability to work around noise levels that fluctuate from quiet to loud and exposure to typical manufacturing hazards.
- Compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Accountability for safety and health, including stopping work when an unsafe condition is present and immediately notifying a supervisor.
- Provide overall supervision for assigned project processes, including achieving performance metrics for safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing tools and concepts to achieve measurable and sustainable improvements for assigned project processes.
- Train, mentor, and develop production team members to build a high-performing and engaged workforce.
- Supervise manufacturing personnel, ensuring alignment, engagement, development, and retention of talent.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence consistent with RK Mission Critical values.
- Identify opportunities for process efficiency and waste reduction.
- Oversee assigned project processes, including adherence to safety requirements and standard work operations.
- Coordinate with the Production Manager to provide tactical input on manufacturing support and execution.
- Participate in developing and implementing manufacturing processes, including hazard analysis, safety procedures, and team member skill assessment.
- Perform other comparable related duties as instructed by the management team.
- One year of Lean Manufacturing experience is beneficial.
- Minimal travel is required.
