Citi cuts Micron price target 18% to $1,150 as DRAM and NAND pricing seen peaking in 2Q 2026

Citi analyst Atif Malik cut Micron Technology's price target 18% to $1,150 from $1,400 whilst maintaining a Buy rating, warning that DRAM and NAND pricing cycles may be nearing their peak. The firm reduced fiscal 2027 and 2028 earnings estimates by 1% and 2% respectively, expecting gross margins to retreat from the mid-80% range toward the mid-70% range next year as pricing power moderates. Micron posted fiscal third-quarter revenue of $41.46 billion, up from $9.30 billion a year earlier. Management expects fourth-quarter revenue near $50 billion. Malik cited Chinese competition and capacity additions in NAND and DRAM markets as the biggest risk. However, roughly 40% of Micron's DRAM bits are covered by long-term pricing agreements, providing some protection.

FinDev Canada invests $45M in NSIA Banque to boost financial inclusion and climate efforts in Côte d'Ivoire

FinDev Canada has provided a €40 million loan to NSIA Banque Côte d'Ivoire, marking its first direct investment in the country. The loan forms part of a €100 million syndicated credit facility led by Citibank, with participation from KEXIM Global (Singapore) Ltd. NSIA will allocate 50% of the funds to small and medium-sized enterprises, with 30% specifically earmarked for women-owned or women-led businesses. The remaining portion will finance climate-related projects, including solar installations in commercial and industrial buildings. The investment aims to advance financial inclusion for underserved populations vulnerable to economic and environmental shocks. Côte d'Ivoire requires an estimated $10 billion in climate mitigation investment to meet its nationally determined contribution targets. The partnership strengthens Canada's long-term relationships across Africa whilst supporting economic growth and climate objectives in the region.
