Responsibilities
Watch gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure machines are working properly.
Operate the dozer and other heavy equipment safely and appropriately.
Ensure the dozer is in the proper gear and is not moving too fast for working conditions.
Observe hand signals, grade stakes, or other markings while operating machines so work meets specifications and is performed safely and with quality.
Comply with Company safety policies and procedures and OSHA regulations.
Assist with loading and unloading trucks and deliveries.
Work in a field-based role on heavy civil and highway construction sites.
Desired Qualifications
Construction industry experience.
Take full ownership of assigned projects and work independently.
Familiarity with excavations and heavy lifting.
Experience in stockpiling.

Job Description
Summary/Objective
The Dozer Operator levels and scoops soil and controls the direction and angle of the equipment to move rocks and debris.
This position will work with straight or articulated rubber-tired tractor type vehicle equipped with front mounted hydraulically powered bucket or scoop.

Supervisory Requirements
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This is field based role. Employee will be working on heavy civil and highway construction sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
Physical Demands

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. This position will occasionally require long hours and weekend work. Average +/-50 hours per week.
