Requirements
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in production, mechanical troubleshooting, or a related field is required.
  • Prior work experience in manufacturing or packaging performing equipment setup and changeovers, or similar demonstrated experience in multi-system mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Basic computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and data entry.
  • Ability to lift 5–25 pounds frequently and occasionally lift drums, bags, and cases weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Regular use of required personal protective equipment, including a bump cap, safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, and an N95 or powered air-purifying respirator.
  • Ability to maintain required training and certifications and communicate production and quality concerns effectively.
Responsibilities
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain manufacturing equipment in a current good manufacturing practice-regulated environment to produce high-quality products safely, efficiently, and in compliance with established procedures.
  • Perform material handling, weighing, processing, inspection, and in-process quality checks while monitoring critical process parameters to ensure product specifications and quality standards are met.
  • Execute equipment setup, cleaning, sanitization, and changeovers to support production schedules and maximize operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform basic adjustments and minor repairs, replace worn or malfunctioning components, and escalate complex issues to technical support teams as needed.
  • Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Identify and resolve equipment, material, and supply issues that could impact safety, quality, or production performance.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment and assist with inventory management to ensure materials and supplies are available while minimizing waste and controlling costs.
  • Complete and maintain production batch records, equipment logs, cleaning records, maintenance documentation, and enterprise resource planning/SAP transactions in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Participate in autonomous maintenance, continuous improvement initiatives, and the development and revision of procedures and work instructions to drive operational excellence.
  • Maintain required training and certifications, communicate production and quality concerns, and escalate issues to leadership when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Build the skills and knowledge needed to independently operate across multiple manufacturing work centers and advance within the Operator Career Path program.

Jefferies lifts Haleon price target to 410p on margin beat despite growth concerns

Jefferies has raised its price target for Haleon to 410p from 400p, maintaining a Buy rating. The consumer health company, which owns brands including Sensodyne and Advil, beat margin expectations by 70 basis points in the first half. Haleon delivered organic sales growth of 3.1% in the second quarter. Oral Health grew 6.2%, driven by Sensodyne and Parodontax, whilst Pain Relief accelerated 4.6% on Voltaren gel expansion. However, Respiratory products declined 6.5% amid a weak cold and flu season. Gross margin expanded 140 basis points on productivity savings, lifting operating margin by 160 basis points to 24.3%. Jefferies noted North America returned to 3.1% growth, showing management-led turnaround gaining traction. The broker said Haleon needs growth exceeding 5% in the second half to reach its full year guidance midpoint.

Haleon prices $2B bond offering to repurchase 2027 notes

Haleon's US subsidiary, Haleon US Capital LLC, has launched and priced a $2 billion fixed-rate bond offering. The offering comprises three tranches: $600 million in notes maturing in 2029 with a 4.625% coupon, $600 million in notes maturing in 2031 with a 4.875% coupon, and $800 million in notes maturing in 2036 with a 5.375% coupon. The offering is scheduled to settle on 21 August 2026. Payment of principal and interest is fully guaranteed by Haleon plc. The company plans to use the net proceeds, together with cash on hand if necessary, to repurchase its outstanding $1,999,350,000 3.375% fixed rate senior notes due March 2027 and for general corporate purposes. Barclays Capital, BofA Securities, Deutsche Bank Securities, Goldman Sachs and Mizuho Securities acted as joint book-running managers.

Haleon H1 2026: Organic growth hits 3.1%, margins up 120bp as North America rebounds

Haleon reported H1 2026 results ending 30 July, showing improved organic sales growth of 3.1% in Q2, with volume and mix up 1.4%. North America delivered strong progress at 3.1% growth, driven by shelf resets, innovation, and e-commerce momentum. Operating margin improved 120 basis points at constant currency, supported by supply chain efficiency and gross margin expansion of 140 basis points. Emerging markets achieved 6.3% growth in Q2, with India and Latin America leading performance. EPS grew 12% in H1. However, respiratory health remained weak, reducing organic growth by 150 basis points. Europe proved challenging with only 0.4% growth, whilst Middle East markets including Dubai and Pakistan experienced significant declines. The company acknowledged performing below its 4–6% medium-term growth target, with particular gaps in Europe and the Middle East.
