About the Job

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the cybersecurity or log management market, with a heavy emphasis on security visibility and insights, is required.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience is required, ideally across at least two of these areas: sales engineering or pre-sales, competitive intelligence, solution architecture, sales operations, product management, technical marketing, professional services, research and development, or technical support.
  • Experience defining and shipping product capabilities, with demonstrated ability to turn strategy into shipped features, is required.
  • Understanding of platform economics, including data network effects, module attach rates, and how consolidation pricing drives platform value, is required.
  • Familiarity with detection engineering pipelines, correlation rule frameworks, or content-as-code approaches is required.
  • Hands-on experience with products through designing, evaluating or testing, or production use, is required.
  • Experience presenting to senior and executive-level management is required.
  • People and project management skills to manage projects and interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties are required.
  • Proven experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes is required.
  • Direct customer experience, either as a customer or in a customer support or field role, is a bonus.
  • Real-world experience using AI, SIEM, SOAR, or log management tools for threat hunting, vulnerability detection, risk analysis, or compliance validation is a bonus.
  • Experience articulating platform consolidation narratives to analysts such as Gartner, Forrester, or IDC, or in competitive displacement scenarios, is a bonus.
  • Hands-on experience with CrowdStrike Query Language (CQL), LogScale, or comparable query-time analytics at scale is a bonus.
  • A background building or evaluating AI/ML-driven security automation, including auto-triage, anomaly detection, or LLM-assisted investigation, is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the Next-Gen SIEM product strategy, including the capability roadmap, competitive positioning, and technical differentiation; translate market signals, customer pain, and threat landscape shifts into product bets with clear success criteria.
  • Drive product definition for new Next-Gen SIEM capabilities across data ingestion, detection logic, investigation workflows, and response automation; partner with Product Management and Engineering to write strategy briefs that become epics.
  • Own the Next-Gen SIEM data strategy, prioritizing native connector sources, addressing petabyte-scale ingestion economics, and determining trade-offs between federated search and centralized storage.
  • Define the Next-Gen SIEM AI integration roadmap, including uses of Charlotte AI to accelerate analyst workflows and AI-native detection and automated response opportunities.
  • Make short- and medium-term roadmap decisions and develop long-term, multi-year strategy with Product Management and Engineering.
  • Develop frameworks for aggregating multiple information sources to streamline and expedite data-driven decision-making.
  • Anchor Next-Gen SIEM within the Falcon platform consolidation narrative by defining how it unifies SIEM, SOAR, log management, and threat intelligence into a single platform experience and articulating the value to analysts, CISOs, and the market.
  • Drive cross-pillar integration strategy, defining how Next-Gen SIEM consumes and enriches data from Endpoint, Cloud Security, Identity Protection, and Exposure Management to deliver correlated detections; own the technically specific better-together narrative.
  • Shape the platform data flywheel narrative, explaining how Falcon module data improves detections and how Next-Gen SIEM insights improve prevention, posture, and response across the platform.
  • Partner with the Next-Gen SIEM, Fusion SOAR, Charlotte AI, and Falcon Foundry teams to define the automation and extensibility layer and account for the full detect-investigate-respond lifecycle.
  • Represent the Next-Gen SIEM perspective in analyst briefings, customer advisory boards, and competitive positioning; contribute to CrowdStrike platform thought leadership.
  • Drive CrowdStrike's technical vision and strategy for Next-Gen SIEM using cybersecurity expertise and strategic thinking.
  • Help develop CrowdStrike's long-range strategic vision and facilitate bringing new security technology concepts to market.
  • Engage field sales, strategic accounts, customer success, and other stakeholders to research product ideas, pain points, obstacles, and market opportunities.
  • Use stakeholder feedback to inform product improvements and adjustments.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the cybersecurity industry, competitors, and related developments.
  • Support the wider CTO organization, including the Falcon Fund, Privacy & Cyber Policy, Data Science, and Detection Architecture teams, as well as the broader organization as needed.

About the Company

CrowdStrike

Builds cloud software that stops cyberattacks

CrowdStrike builds cybersecurity software for organizations that need to protect computers, cloud workloads, identities and data from digital attacks. Its Falcon platform combines these defenses in one cloud system, using a lightweight sensor on devices to collect activity and detect suspicious behavior. Security teams investigate alerts and automate responses through a shared console, while the platform connects information from different parts of a business to reveal attacks that isolated tools miss. Customers pay subscription fees based on the products and assets covered, and CrowdStrike also charges for incident response services. CrowdStrike was founded in 2011 and is based in Austin, Texas.
