Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in HR Compliance or HR Generalist roles with implementing compliance responsibilities
  • Familiarity with SOX, SOC
  • Ability to engage in consultative approaches with all levels of management
  • Proficiency in multitasking and meeting deadlines with limited supervision
  • Experience leading large cross-functional projects
  • Familiarity with mandatory government reporting domestically
  • Strong understanding of people policies, governmental laws, and regulations
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex ideas to various audiences
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information
  • Resourcefulness, organizational skills, and ability to multitask effectively
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Proactive and self-initiating approach to facilitating change
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
  • Identify and track laws and regulations affecting organizational policies, practices, and procedures
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations
  • Manage multiple People Compliance programs and projects
  • Lead projects to implement new legal requirements
  • Coordinate responses to internal and external compliance audits
  • Oversee regulatory compliance report filings
  • Maintain and update People Policies, Employee Handbook, and record retention schedules
  • Manage I-9, background verification adjudications, and labor law posting requirements
  • Handle other assigned duties as necessary
