Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule is required.
  • Computer literacy, including functional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook, is required.
  • The physical demands include communicating with prospective and current students and staff, demonstrating procedures and techniques, traveling to and from classrooms and offices, prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, and lifting up to 15 pounds.
  • The position requires regular and reliable attendance.
Responsibilities
  • Call potential students using inquiries from advertising and Representative Generated Referrals.
  • Conduct career consultations and arrange visits to the school.
  • Conduct career planning sessions with candidates for admission.
  • Present clear and accurate information about careers and curricula while adhering to the Admission Code of Ethics.
  • Complete paperwork for the application and enrollment process.
  • Evaluate and resolve student inquiries, issues, and problems relating to the admissions process, taking appropriate action in compliance with policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Provide prospective students with information about programs, including entrance requirements, curricula, and academic standards.
  • Make 100 outbound calls to prospective students daily.
  • Follow up on and record prospective student inquiries that do not schedule a career planning session, do not attend a session, do not enroll, or do not start.
  • Conduct career planning sessions and ensure that any financial aid references comply with company policy.
  • Provide campus tours to prospective students.
  • Complete required enrollment forms, schedule financial aid appointments, and follow up to ensure that financial aid packaging is complete.
  • Develop and implement a plan to generate an average of four Representative Generated Referrals weekly from current and prospective students.
  • Ensure that all pre-start paperwork is completed.
  • Keep all required reports current and accurate.
  • Attend open houses and other required functions.
  • Attend scheduled product knowledge training sessions.
  • Comply with governmental regulations, accreditation standards, Admissions Department policy, and the Admissions Code of Ethics related to student enrollment and recruiting.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
  • Work in a professional office setting with moderate noise levels and a controlled indoor climate.
Desired Qualifications
  • An associate degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent, is preferred.
  • Training or experience in public speaking is preferred.
  • Previous counseling, customer service, or business experience, in or outside the education industry, is preferred.
