About the Company

Fab2

Provides miniaturized semiconductor fabrication plants

Fab2 designs and sells miniaturized semiconductor fabrication factories called fab fabs, with all fabrication hardware built in-house to enable small-batch chip prototyping. It is developing Studio, a browser-based collaborative EDA tool for chip layout, schematic capture, and simulation, to provide an end-to-end path from design to fabrication. The company differentiates itself by offering integrated, in-house hardware and a modular factory setup that can shorten development cycles from months to hours, focusing on quick-turnaround prototyping rather than mass production. Its goal is to make chip creation more accessible for researchers, hobbyists, and small teams by combining affordable, small-scale fabrication with collaborative design software.
