About the Job

Requirements

  • An engineering degree or technician qualification specializing in electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification, together with good business administration knowledge.
  • Knowledge of measurement, control, and regulation automation systems and safety technology.
  • Experience with budgeting, profit and loss, and cost management.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Strong customer and service orientation.
  • Very good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, in a structured way, and with a results-oriented approach.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically.
  • Very good German and good English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver projects in building technology on schedule and within cost and quality requirements.
  • Work closely with project leads and the Operations team.
  • Implement project management tasks within projects.
  • Commission and monitor externally contracted services and work with respect to schedules, costs, and performance.
  • Procure equipment, supplies, and external services for contracted and commissioned systems and trades.
  • Clarify technical requirements while taking customer requirements into account.
  • Participate in solution design and prepare technical proposals.
  • Optimize energy use in cooperation with the relevant departments.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractor work.
  • Support customers and ensure system availability.
  • Prepare and maintain all project documentation.
  • Provide technical, project-related leadership to technicians on site.
  • Work closely with the sales team, service manager, and Research and Development team.
  • Support selection of the appropriate combination of hardware, software, and services to maximize customer value.
  • Support the sales team during customer visits by advising on technical solutions, proposals, and presentations of new technologies.
  • Prepare and deliver training for internal and external technical staff.
  • Report to project management leadership.

Desired Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  • Knowledge of VOB/B is an advantage.
