- At least 5 years of experience, including experience beyond development in a Tech Lead, Architect, or Staff Engineer role.
- Expert-level mastery of the Google Cloud Platform stack.
- Experience with data platforms, architectures, modeling, and migrations, and/or classical machine learning, generative artificial intelligence, and agentic architectures.
- Experience interfacing with clients, building trust, explaining technical topics clearly, challenging clients, and reframing their technical strategy.
- Experience in services or consulting is preferred.
- Proficiency with artificial-intelligence-assisted development methods, such as Claude Code.
- Qualify inbound leads technically, gather functional and non-functional requirements, and design the technical strategy for deals.
- Define suitable Google Cloud Platform architectures using BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Composer, Vertex AI, Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Run, and Identity and Access Management while applying best practices and client constraints.
- Analyze existing data and artificial-intelligence architectures and data models, then propose migration, modernization, or FinOps optimization strategies.
- Build a coherent technical approach and pricing estimate to maximize deal success.
- Defend proposals before business, information-technology, and data leadership stakeholders.
- Champion Google Cloud expertise across the group through technology monitoring, standards, best practices, team upskilling, and ecosystem relationships with Google.
- Support project kickoffs and align delivery teams with the defined strategy.
- Google Cloud certifications, especially Professional Cloud Architect and Professional Data Engineer.
- Experience in services or consulting.
