Responsibilities
  • Index and review signed loan closing documents in the Encompass electronic folder while following company policies.
  • Contact borrowers, title companies, or First United Bank Mortgage closers and funders regarding missing or unsigned closing documents and confirm receipt.
  • Complete audit loan requests and required corrections from Mortgage Compliance.
  • Contact team members to assist with indexing and maintain pipeline counts in accordance with company policies.
  • Provide backup for the Mortgage Post-Closing Incoming Mail Specialist.
  • Provide backup for the Mortgage Post-Closing Scanning and Shredding Specialist.
  • Scan and index recorded mortgages, deeds of trust, and third-party loan documents.
  • Provide backup assistance to others within the department as needed.
  • Perform other duties requested by management.
  • Recommend methods to improve the department.
