What believers are saying

  • USPTO appeals inventory fell to 1,866 by March 31, 2026, boosting analytics demand.
  • Unified Patents’ Q1 2026 report shows ex parte reexamination requests surged 157.1%.
  • Ex Parte’s careers pages in 2026 list open engineering roles, signaling active product investment.

What critics are saying

  • Only 2-10 employees on LinkedIn; scaling sales and support remains fragile.
  • PatentlyO’s May 2, 2026 data shows IPR collapsed, threatening adjacent-demand assumptions.
  • If patent-litigation volume keeps falling, Ex Parte’s niche becomes too small to sustain growth.

What makes Ex Parte unique

  • Ex Parte’s July 31, 2026 platform claims a 2B+ relationship litigation graph.
  • Its Patent Prediction Engine and Recommendation Engine target settle-versus-litigate decisions, venue, and counsel.
  • The company sells litigation intelligence for patent disputes, not generic legal workflow software.
