Requirements
  • An active Secret clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Experience in access control or security for classified facilities or construction sites.
  • Ability to control access points and screen personnel and materials.
  • Ability to conduct walking patrols and maintain a security presence.
  • Ability to complete security documentation and reports.
  • Ability to conduct extended walking patrols.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, and move throughout secure facilities for extended periods of time.
  • May be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, depending on assignment requirements.
  • Must be available to support weekend shifts on a rotating schedule.
Responsibilities
  • Control and monitor access to secure construction areas and verify badges and authorizations.
  • Inspect personnel, materials, and equipment in accordance with the Construction Security Plan and Post Orders.
  • Conduct interior and exterior patrols and document all activity.
  • Identify, document, and report security incidents, discrepancies, or power loss.
  • Coordinate with Construction Security Teams for delivery inspections and alternative entrance access.
  • Perform duties in compliance with the Statement of Work, Construction Security Plan, and Guard Orders.
  • Ensure only authorized personnel, materials, tools, and vehicles are granted access.
  • Conduct required inspections and walking patrols to maintain security coverage.
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Construction Security Plans, incident reporting, and patrol tracking systems.
