Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in a quality inspection or technician role.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments, including industrial applications, is required.
  • Ability to read drawings and other technical specifications.
  • Understanding of basic quality principles, including Pareto analysis, statistical process control and analysis, and root cause investigation.
  • Ability to use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and thread gages.
  • High visual awareness.
  • Intermediate organizational skills.
  • Experience drafting reports and collating data using Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced, high-pressure, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
  • Adhere to the Quality Management System by performing standardized quality checks on materials and products to ensure compliance with legal and company safety and quality standards.
  • Perform evaluations and inspections to ensure goods and services comply with company standards and customer requirements for specific product builds.
  • Use measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and thread gages to evaluate product compliance.
  • Use drawings, blueprints, and technical specification data to understand product characteristics and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain company records demonstrating conformance, identifying failures, and documenting corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure nonconformances and other quality issues are handled correctly throughout the process.
  • Maintain the company calibration system across all organizational departments.
  • Support failure mode and corrective action analyses for in-process, supplier, and customer complaints.
  • Provide trend analysis for failures, corrective actions, inspection results, and other metrics.
  • Maintain calibrated test equipment and prepare test data.
Desired Qualifications
  • A minimum two-year degree is preferred.
