Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
  • Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
  • PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
  • Deep knowledge and experience with high-performance design of PCIe and/or Ethernet interfaces.
  • 10+ years HW design, testing and commercialization experience.
  • 3+ years of experience of working in datacenter related products - servers, accelerators etc.
  • In-depth understanding of Ordering models for PCIe, ARM and High speed Serial interfaces.
  • Very good understanding or Error scenarios, such as PCIe-AER, PCIE-DPC.
  • Very good understanding of IO Virtualization, such as PCIe-SRIOV.
  • Good knowledge of scale-up and scale-out architectures.
  • Very good understanding of DMA engines.
  • Willingness to work in a high-caliber international/multi-site team.
Responsibilities
  • Understand trends in High Speed interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet and Die-to-Die (D2D) interconnectivity.
  • Propose data flow models and work with Software, Firmware and SOC design teams in achieving high bandwidth and low latency for end-to-end data transfers.
  • Very good understanding of various Layers, such as Physical, Link, Transaction and Protocol layer of High Speed interfaces.
  • Work with Software, SOC Design teams and Card design teams in realizing the connectivity for AI Scale Up and Scale Out deployments.
  • Architect enhancements required for deployment of next-generation AI products.
Desired Qualifications
  • Very good understanding of PCIE Gen6/Gen7 requirements.
  • Very good understanding of Integrity and Data Encryption such as PCIE-IDE, PCIE-SIOV, PCIE-TDISP.
  • Very Good knowledge of Ethernet protocols with emphasis on error recovery and virtualization.
  • Very good understanding of various PCIE-CEM standards for PCIE Card deployments.
  • Good understanding of new AI standards such as UCIe, UAL and UEC.
  • Good understanding of PCIE Firmware and System Software requirements.
  • Good understanding of High Speed Serdes such as PCIE PHY and Ethernet PHY.
  • Good knowledge of server SOC architectures focusing on security, RAS and virtualization.
  • Ability to work with Customer, Product Management and gather requirements.
