About the job

Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience is required.
  • Fifteen years of full-time education is required.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with SAP BTP Integration Suite concepts and building blocks, including cloud integration, iFlows, transformation patterns, and monitoring.
  • Ability to implement message mappings, routing patterns, and transformation logic across enterprise data formats.
  • Practical scripting capability, such as Groovy, for advanced integration-flow customization and performance tuning.
  • Solid API design and management fundamentals, including security, throttling, lifecycle/versioning, and observability.
  • AI-native delivery capability involving tool-augmented workflows, retrieval-grounded outputs, measurable evaluation loops, and safe action boundaries.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze and design new business processes and create documentation that guides the implementation of new processes and technologies.
  • Partner with the business to define product requirements and use cases that meet process and functional requirements.
  • Participate in user and task analysis to represent business needs.
  • Design, develop, and run end-to-end integration scenarios across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises landscapes.
  • Build, structure, and manage large integration flows with modularity, reusability, and maintainability for enterprise scale.
  • Create and maintain integration flows using routing, splitting, gathering, and other transformation patterns.
  • Implement message mappings and data transformations for JSON, XML, CSV, and other enterprise formats.
  • Apply canonical modeling and contract-first practices to reduce brittle point-to-point dependencies.
  • Use scripting such as Groovy for complex transformation logic, enrichment, validation, and conditional execution paths.
  • Implement message persistence patterns such as data stores to support idempotency, retries, correlation, and resilience.
  • Design and expose secure APIs through API management capabilities, including policies, authentication, authorization, throttling, versioning, and lifecycle management.
  • Integrate with third-party applications using connector-based approaches and standardized integration patterns.
  • Enable event-driven integration using messaging and event capabilities for near-real-time propagation and decoupled architectures.
  • Build integration agents that generate initial iFlows from system or endpoint selections and naming conventions, then validate them against enterprise standards.
  • Implement retrieval-grounded assistance using interface catalogs, mapping specifications, standards, runbooks, and known incident patterns to produce verifiable recommendations.
  • Apply intelligent recommendations for mapping and configuration to accelerate builds and reduce rework.
  • Develop AI-driven anomaly detection and prediction for integration and API behavior, with human-in-the-loop controls for remediation actions.
  • Optimize and analyze integration-flow scripts for performance and maintainability through AI-assisted code analysis techniques.
  • Build automated integration testing strategies covering schema and contract validation, payload regression suites, replay testing, and API testing.
  • Implement AI evaluation harnesses with offline golden test sets and online monitoring for generated mappings, flows, and operational recommendations.
  • Establish release gates for integration changes and AI prompt or tool updates to prevent silent degradation.
  • Set up monitoring dashboards and alerts for flows, APIs, and event-driven pipelines, with traceability through correlation IDs and end-to-end tracking.
  • Diagnose and resolve integration issues using structured logs, message traces, and failure-mode analysis.
  • Create AI-native operational experiences such as conversational root-cause analysis, runbook-guided remediation, and impact analysis bounded by role-based access and approval workflows.
  • Apply integration advisory practices to design hybrid integration platforms and define integration best practices across teams.
  • Use integration assessment approaches to improve integration maturity, standardize patterns, and automate repeatable architectural governance where feasible.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with event-driven integration design and enterprise messaging patterns.
  • Experience with connector-based integrations with third-party software-as-a-service ecosystems.
  • Experience migrating and modernizing legacy integration platforms to cloud integration.

Accenture caps staff AI spending at $29 a month after $1,000 bills

Accenture has capped employee AI spending at $29 (£21.75) a month after some staff ran up bills of $1,000, according to a report by 404 Media. The consulting firm wants to curb runaway costs as employees use AI for more everyday tasks. Companies are typically billed by usage, like a utility. Last week, some staff were told their access to Anthropic's Claude had been pulled entirely. Others are also reining in costs. Uber capped engineers' Claude spending at $1,500 a month after using up its AI budget in four months, while Microsoft has reportedly cut its Claude spending by about a third. The curbs come as Anthropic prepares for a public listing, targeting a valuation as high as $2tn. Investors are reportedly considering about $1.5tn.

Accenture's AI push: analysts see earnings reaching $10.3B by 2029 on 5.2% yearly revenue growth

Accenture is shifting AI work from pilots to deeply embedded systems, according to recent deals with UMass Memorial Health, Dell, Microsoft and Workday. The UMass Memorial project is a multi-year AI data platform, while the Dell alliance pitches private AI infrastructure to regulated clients. Analysts expect revenue to grow 5.2% a year over the next three years, with profit margins rising from 11.3% to 11.9%. They forecast earnings of $10.3 billion by 2029, up from $8.4 billion today, on revenue of $86.3 billion. The stock trades at a price-to-earnings ratio of 14.2x, against 21.9x for US IT peers. Risks include slower decision cycles in federal and EMEA work, which could curb consulting demand and margins.

Accenture plans $9.5B shareholder returns and $5B acquisitions as it bets on AI reinvention

Accenture (NYSE: ACN) is betting on enterprise AI as its main growth engine. At its Investor and Analyst Day, the company targeted at least mid-single-digit constant-currency revenue growth in fiscal 2027 and 2028, rising to mid- to high-single-digit growth from fiscal 2029. Chief executive officer Julie Sweet said AI will create new demand that exceeds work lost to automation. The company has grown its AI and data workforce from 40,000 to nearly 110,000. Accenture plans to return $9.5 billion to shareholders in fiscal 2027 and spend about $5 billion on acquisitions. It expects annual operating-margin growth of 10 to 30 basis points. Its network of specialised businesses, now 6% of revenue, could double by fiscal 2029. Fiscal 2026 revenue was $74.2 billion, up 5% in local currency.

Accenture shares up 77% from June low as Oct. 14 Investor Day nears

Accenture will hold an Investor Day on October 14, where it is expected to detail its long-term strategy, AI monetisation plans, growth guidance, and margin expansion goals. It raised its quarterly dividend by 5% to $1.71 per share, payable November 13, 2026. Its market capitalisation is about $139.6 billion.
