Requirements
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- An active Pennsylvania state license, if required.
- A minimum of 3 years of ultrasound and echocardiogram experience.
- Graduation from an accredited ultrasound program.
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound and echocardiogram procedures as ordered.
- Operate and maintain portable ultrasound equipment provided by the contractor.
- Prepare, position, and educate patients prior to procedures.
- Transmit images and reports electronically in a timely manner.
- Maintain patient records, logs, and exam documentation.
- Identify and report abnormal findings to medical staff.
