James Vant appointed CEO of cybersecurity firm XLA

XLA, a cybersecurity and data management provider serving the US federal government, has appointed James Vant as chief executive officer. Vant previously served as president of eTelligent Group and held senior leadership roles at Octo, an IBM company, where he managed profit and loss responsibilities and led strategic integration efforts. The Vienna, Virginia-based company provides cybersecurity, data analytics, technical solutions and international programme support services to federal agencies. Founded over 30 years ago, XLA has supported missions including homeland security, disaster relief and cybersecurity incidents. Vant succeeds Gary Slack, who is retiring after a decade leading the company.
