About the job
- PSIA Level 1 certification is encouraged and can be completed during the season; Level 2 or 3 certification or an international equivalent is preferred.
- At least two seasons of previous instructing experience is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a natural talent for guest service are required.
- Confidence and comfort working in cold, snowy, and changing mountain environments are required.
- Create an engaging and safe learning environment for individuals, families, and groups.
- Deliver high-quality instruction in classic and skate skiing techniques.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with students, parents, supervisors, and fellow instructors.
- Arrive reliably and on time, ready to deliver a memorable guest experience.
- Adapt to winter conditions and maintain a positive, guest-focused attitude throughout the day.
- Assist guests with properly fitting and sizing Nordic rental equipment when needed.
- Support retail and rental operations during downtime or peak periods.
- Inspire a love for Nordic skiing by leading with passion, patience, and professionalism.
