Requirements
  • LCSW or LMHC-D licensure is required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of person-centered, trauma-informed care practices
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and with external agencies
  • Adherence to policies and New York State Mental Hygiene laws regarding patient care, clinical records, child abuse reporting, HIPAA regulations, and related standards
Responsibilities
  • Direct, coordinate, and supervise all program operations, including clinical services, program planning, monitoring, and evaluation
  • Ensure care is person-centered and trauma-informed in accordance with the program’s Operating Certificate and the clinical needs of clients
  • Represent Richmond University Medical Center in the community, collaborating with public and voluntary service agencies
  • Ensure compliance with Federal, New York State, and New York City laws, regulations, and program standards
  • Facilitate regular staff meetings, including training, case presentations, and group supervision
  • Provide ongoing staff supervision and consultation as needed
  • Maintain regular communication with psychiatrists, nurses, clinicians, and physicians involved in client care
  • Monitor staff productivity, record compliance, outreach policy, and treatment reviews
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Desired Qualifications
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience in a behavioral health or clinical program setting preferred
