Requirements
  • Be a full-time or part-time student working toward a degree.
  • Be eligible to receive school credit and commit to two to three days per week for three months.
  • Have experience with photo art direction, desktop production, and fashion magazine advertising.
  • Have previous experience supporting fashion magazine environments.
  • Have strong organizational and time-management skills and be able to work autonomously.
  • Demonstrate strong design style and fashion advertising experience.
  • Be able to present information effectively to top management, public groups, and other internal and external groups.
  • Be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks.
  • Have strong computer skills, including experience with Windows NT, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Be proficient in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Demonstrate integrity, honesty, openness, and willingness to work as part of a team.
Responsibilities
  • Develop innovative design solutions.
  • Develop solutions for marketing materials, including in-book promotions, online and print materials, public relations and promotional materials, online advertising, social media, and special seasonal initiatives.
  • Initiate concepts and work independently or with magazine staff and copywriters.
  • Perform other related duties as requested.
  • Handle general administrative duties, including reaching out to clients by phone and email.
  • Handle other responsibilities and projects as assigned.
