Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
  • 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on MFT solutions
  • Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, C# or PowerShell
  • Experience with MFT platforms (e.g., IBM Sterling, Awxay, Fusion)
  • Experience in building SOAP and REST based services using Oracle SOA / OSB
  • Knowledge of file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2) and APIs
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with continuous integration, unit testing, static analysis, and automated integration tests. Continuous delivery experience preferred
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Comfortable working with globally distributed and diverse teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test and implement MFT solutions using industry-leading technologies (e.g., IBM Sterling, Globalscape, Biscom)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS) and APIs for integration with internal applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to file transfers, system integrations and data integrity
  • Implement automation scripts using languages like Python or PowerShell
  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the development team's skills and knowledge
  • Participate in on-call rotations for production support
