Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a science or engineering discipline is required.
  • Ten or more years of proven experience in environmental services, particularly in federal and state contracts, leading projects or programs in excess of $50 million, is required.
  • Knowledge of laws, legal codes, government regulations, executive orders, and agency rules governing environmental projects and programs is required.
  • Ability to identify complex problems, review related information, develop and evaluate options, and implement solutions is required.
  • Ability to work in an Alaska Native Corporation multi-business environment is required.
Responsibilities
  • Develop overall direction to guide planning at the service, client, and contract levels in conjunction with the Director of Construction Programs.
  • Ensure business development and program delivery efforts remain aligned with strategic goals.
  • Ensure programs meet expected goals and deliver planned benefits.
  • Identify, analyze, and prepare for program risks and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and security processes.
  • Support organizational policies and procedures to enhance overall operation and effectiveness, with safety as a primary focus.
  • Identify and manage conflicts and support a high-performance team environment where diversity is valued and people are treated with respect and dignity.
  • Generate leads and provide technical support for proposal development.
  • Collaborate with groups within Calista Brice and multiple client organizations.
  • Supervise Environmental Scientists and Engineers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Experience as a leader with appropriate industry experience is desirable.

  • Desire and drive to develop and grow an expanding environmental services portfolio are desirable.
