Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited medical assistant program, licensure as a licensed practical nurse, completion of the UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program or Employee Partner Medical Assistant Program, attainment of Certified Clinical Medical Assistant certification as a UWH employee, acceptance into the UWH MA Apprenticeship Program – Accelerated, or one year of recent Medical Assistant experience with CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification.
  • Certification as a medical assistant, CMA, RMA, or CCMA within one year, or licensure as an LPN upon hire.
  • Current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification upon hire if applying in lieu of Medical Assistant education or LPN licensure.
  • CPR/BLS certification upon hire.
Responsibilities
  • Join the UW Health podiatry team as they evaluate and treat foot ailments including foot and heel pain, heel spurs, hammer toes, bunions, corns, calluses, ingrown toenails, plantar warts, plantar fasciitis, arthritis, and tendinitis.
  • Provide high-quality care in a compassionate, respectful, patient- and family-centered environment.
  • Promote wellness and healthy lifestyles.
Desired Qualifications
  • One year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN.
