  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (or in the process of obtaining the license) preferred
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience, with exposure to electronic trading or financial services
  • Prior experience at public accounting firms preferred
  • Strong understanding of accounting software and advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
  • Manage daily accounting and financial operations, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support electronic trading activities, including settlement, clearing, and reconciliations
  • Conduct detailed analysis of financial transactions and prepare reports that summarize current financial status
  • Prepare and adjust journal entries and perform monthly and quarterly closing activities in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures, working closely with developers and other functional teams, to further automate and enhance the robustness of the firm’s financial operations
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in electronic trading platforms
