Maintenance Workshop Manager
About the job
- Technical training at BEP, BAC Pro, or BTS level, preferably in industrial maintenance, construction equipment maintenance, or agricultural equipment maintenance.
- Initial experience in a similar position.
- Recognized professional expertise in technical maintenance and knowledge of construction and public works equipment.
- Ensure the technical, safety, and presentation compliance and good condition of equipment offered for rental.
- Maintain and repair equipment, diagnose faults, perform on-site breakdown assistance when necessary, and inspect repairs performed by subcontractors.
- Plan the activity of the workshop and equipment-yard team.
- Conduct a weekly equipment-yard inspection with the equipment-yard manager.
- Train the workshop team when necessary or propose training programs.
- Prepare quotations and supplier purchase orders.
- Check the conformity of purchased parts and services upon receipt.
- Schedule periodic maintenance and regulatory inspections with customers and manage their follow-up.
- Keep workshop activity-tracking documents up to date, including revision checklists, equipment records, and intervention reports.
- Prepare progress reports comparing work status with established objectives.
- Manage the stock of parts and consumables.
- Participate in evaluating local suppliers.
