Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or higher is preferred.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in legal operations, business operations, program management, or consulting, with direct experience in mergers and acquisitions integration, large-scale program management, or strategic initiatives.
  • Experience supporting corporate transactions, due diligence, or post-close integration, ideally in partnership with an Integration Management Office.

Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end legal integration across global acquisitions, from integration strategy during diligence through post-close, in partnership with Corporate Development’s Integration Management Office.
  • Build integrated legal roadmaps with clear dependencies and critical paths, and establish governance, reporting, and escalation frameworks for each transaction.
  • Prepare and lead leadership readouts on the legal integration status of deals in scope.
  • Implement value-realization and risk-retirement tracking, and codify repeatable legal integration playbooks.
  • Act as the control tower across concurrent transactions and initiatives, ensuring legal work is resourced, sequenced, and prioritized appropriately across teams.
  • Build and manage integrated plans, milestones, and key performance indicators, and drive execution across multiple complex, cross-functional workstreams simultaneously.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, hold teams accountable, and maintain cross-functional relationships.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation, decision logs, and scalable processes.
  • Partner with Corporate Development, Finance, People, Tax, Security and Privacy, and the business to understand deal and product integration plans and identify impacts on Legal processes, systems, and organization.
  • Support diligence and signing-to-close workstreams, including data room logistics, tracking conditions to close, and managing transaction document repositories.
  • Coordinate a hub-and-spoke model that maps acquired legal teams and matters to the appropriate Lyft Legal functional owners, surfacing risks and tradeoffs early.
  • Work with Legal, Procurement, and Accounting to manage outside counsel and vendor relationships for deal and integration matters, including engagement agreements, alternative fee arrangements, associated budgets, billing guidelines, and communications.
  • Manage multi-jurisdictional and cross-border engagements, including United States, United Kingdom, European Union, and Nordic counsel.
  • Support legal entity integration, registered agent and entity management, corporate housekeeping, and governance harmonization for newly acquired entities.
  • Partner with Corporate, Tax, and Finance to maintain accurate entity records and ensure post-close compliance and reporting obligations are met.
  • Help establish and evolve the Legal integration operating model, including integration governance, intake, and cross-functional operating rhythms.
  • Own the intake and prioritization layer for Legal integration work, define prioritization criteria, provide pipeline visibility, and facilitate prioritization discussions with Legal leadership.
  • Onboard acquired entities, matters, and spend into matter management, electronic billing, and contract management platforms, leading the associated change management.
  • Develop, implement, and iterate on metrics, benchmarking, and dashboards measuring integration progress, legal spend, and Legal team performance and efficiency.

(WKRN) - If you order a Lyft in downtown Nashville today, the driver's seat might be empty when the car pulls up. On Wednesday, Nashville became the first city where users requesting rides within the Lyft app could be matched with a self-driving Waymo taxi. Lyft's move to further integrate with Waymo marks a significant shift in how autonomous vehicles are deployed at scale. By combining traditional drivers and robotaxis into one unified fleet, Lyft is effectively testing whether everyday passengers will be willing to accept autonomous rides as a standard default. Passengers who prefer a human driver can choose to reject autonomous vehicle assignments or to opt out of driverless rides altogether, according to Lyft's announcement. Previously, autonomous car rides could only be ordered through the Waymo app. To be eligible for matching with a robotaxi, the route must start and end within the Waymo service area on Lyft covering Downtown/Broadway, North Nashville/Germantown, East Nashville, Midtown, and South Nashville. Availability will continue to grow gradually over the coming weeks. "Nashville riders have been quick to embrace autonomous vehicles as part of how they get around the city. Adding Waymo vehicles to our marketplace is a natural fit," said Sid Patil, Head of Rideshare at Lyft. "Lyft and Waymo are joining hands to bring this amazing piece of technology to more riders in a seamless way." Riders can always decline an autonomous ride or opt out of them entirely. Human drivers will continue to serve riders throughout and around the service area, creating a hybrid network of human-driven and autonomously driven vehicles. Lyft began hiring for 70+ new full-time jobs for its autonomous vehicle fleet management in Nashville. At the time, officials said half of the filled roles had gone to current or former Lyft drivers.
