Requirements
  • Strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, diesel, and electrical issues.
  • Working knowledge of tools, materials, and repair techniques used on diesel-powered equipment.
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment.
  • Ability to complete a background check, drug screening, motor vehicle record review, and Department of Transportation physical.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Responsibilities
  • Support the Sanford Service Center by inspecting, evaluating, maintaining, repairing, and rebuilding diesel pump systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines used in pump systems.
  • Work alongside the service team to support service-center operations.
  • Provide specialty tools required for the job.
  • Work a Monday–Friday day shift schedule and provide occasional weekend support as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Eight or more years of diesel engine experience.
  • Experience with Caterpillar and John Deere diesel engines.
  • Familiarity with Godwin diesel pump engines, including the 6068, 6090, and 4045 series.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Xylem, a water technology company, has agreed to acquire WaterFleet for $200 million. The San Antonio, Texas-based company provides mobile water and wastewater utility services and workforce relief solutions. WaterFleet is backed by private equity firm EagleTree.

Xylem stock jumps 4.4% on raised full-year earnings guidance despite revenue miss

Xylem shares jumped 4.4% in morning trading after the water technology company reported second-quarter results that beat profit estimates and raised its full-year earnings forecast. The company posted adjusted earnings of $1.46 per share, exceeding the analyst consensus of $1.34 by 9.2%. However, the quarter presented a mixed picture. Revenue of $2.34 billion met expectations, but adjusted EBITDA of $437 million missed estimates by 15.5%. Xylem also lowered its full-year revenue guidance to $9.2 billion at the midpoint. Despite these headwinds, investors focused on improved profitability. Operating margin increased to 16.7%, up from 13.3% in the same quarter last year. Reflecting this improvement, Xylem raised its full-year adjusted EPS guidance to a midpoint of $5.63.

Xylem raised its 2026 profit forecast on Tuesday after second-quarter results beat Wall Street estimates, driven by cost savings and price increases amid growing AI infrastructure demand. The water-management company now expects adjusted earnings of $5.55 to $5.70 per share, up from its previous forecast of $5.35 to $5.60 per share. CEO Matthew Pine said AI infrastructure expansion has increased demand for water solutions across semiconductor manufacturing, power generation and mining. On an adjusted basis, quarterly profit stood at $1.46 per share, beating analysts' estimate of $1.34 per share. Quarterly revenue rose 2% to $2.34 billion, in line with estimates.
