Requirements
  • Experience in training facilitation, leadership development, and employee development programs.
  • Experience partnering with department leaders to identify training and performance improvement needs.
  • Experience administering and tracking compliance training programs.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and digital learning platforms.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.
  • Must have work authorization in the United States.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the in-house training and development function.
  • Act as an in-house consultant to identify training needs with department heads for all levels based on current industry trends, business objectives, the hotel's operating philosophy, and workforce requirements.
  • Develop the annual Training Plan and schedule training activities according to business needs and operational priorities.
  • Formulate and administer training and development policies and procedures, including orientation of new hires, mandatory training for specific roles, training required for promotion and career development, external training, and training library resources.
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and track mandatory HSH corporate and legal compliance training programs, including harassment prevention, bystander intervention, and human trafficking awareness training, ensuring timely completion and accurate recordkeeping.
  • Develop and facilitate departmental trainers to deliver training programs within their respective areas.
  • Design and facilitate training programs through instructor-led, online, and blended learning solutions.
  • Oversee annual performance appraisal processes for line and management employees.
  • Maintain and enhance the Learning Management System and training records.
  • Administer learning and development programs launched by the Corporate Office.
Desired Qualifications
  • Three to five years of Learning and Development experience, preferably within a luxury hospitality environment.
