What the day will look like

• Manage and service a portfolio of Marine accounts and ensure its financial sustainability and growth
• Client retention as well as revenue growth through penetration (organic growth), new sales initiatives and cross selling
• Day to day point of contact for clients in the portfolio on addressing queries
• Assess and identify risks relating to the client operations
• Prepare underwriting reports and lead broking, negotiation and placement of risks to the insurance market.
• Responsible premium closings and submissions to CPU team for billing
• Handle claims management
• Identifying client needs and requirements and translating these into tailored insurance and/or service solutions
• Building and maintaining a close business relationship with clients and prospects at different stakeholder levels
• Delivering services and monitoring Aon performance through implementation of the Aon Client Promise methodology
• Accountability for budget performance and other projects as assigned

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• Minimum requirement (BCP, PGI, CommGI) for registration with MAS or such similar qualification acceptable to MAS 
• At least 6 years of experience within the insurance industry
• Strong technical skills around insurance policy interpretation and drafting and/or Marine Risk 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to forge strong relationships with country and specialty colleagues as well as clients and insurers.
• Self-disciplined, organized, with attention to detail and ability to prioritise.
