Project Manager
About the job
- At least 5 years of experience delivering information technology projects for enterprise clients.
- Experience managing projects in core infrastructure and data center, Microsoft 365 rollouts and upgrades, Windows server and desktop upgrades, and cloud migrations.
- Knowledge of project management principles, governance frameworks, stakeholder management, status reporting, escalation procedures, and budget tracking and management.
- Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions, and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Microsoft Project.
- Use the company's project management methodologies to create and manage a project plan tailored to client needs and deliver project outcomes within budget.
- Work with company business units to define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and required resources, and ensure project members understand expectations.
- Manage project budgets, team resources, communications, and project plans.
- Monitor and report on project progress and problems.
- Identify and resolve risks and issues in a timely manner.
- Escalate concerns to the project team and senior management when appropriate.
- Recommend solutions to the client.
- Provide direction and support to the implementation team and review the team's deliverables.
- Organize and lead meetings with clear objectives and communicate meeting summary minutes.
- Oversee and monitor management reports on specified projects.
- Manage project-specific vendor relationships and monitor statements of work to maintain accountability for contract deliverables.
- Act as the primary interface to client business units during all project phases.
- PMI training or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Previous experience in professional or consulting services.
