Zinnia connects life, annuity distribution workflows.

Zinnia connects life, annuity distribution workflows. Zinnia Market Connect combines lead management, quoting, illustrations, order entry, e-signature and case tracking in a single distribution experience. Anthony R. O'Donnell // September 30, 2026 (Image credit: IIR.) Zinnia (Greenwich, Conn.) has launched a connected distribution experience within Zinnia Market Connect (ZMC), bringing multiple life and annuity sales functions into a single workflow for advisors. The updated experience combines lead management, CRM, quoting, illustrations, order entry, e-signature and case tracking, allowing a case to move from lead to signature without requiring advisors to switch among separate systems. The launch builds on Zinnia's recently announced headless order-entry capabilities, which let carriers, banks, broker-dealers and IMOs build their own front-end experiences on Zinnia APIs. Zinnia now positions the two approaches as alternatives built on the same underlying infrastructure: firms can either use ZMC as the front end or develop their own experience using Zinnia's API-first services. "Whether a firm wants to build on our APIs or use Zinnia Market Connect as their front end, we're removing the friction that has shackled distribution for decades and replacing it with one connected system," comments George Esposito, CEO, Zinnia. API-First Distribution Infrastructure Zinnia has also introduced Illustrations-as-a-Service, extending its composable approach beyond order entry into quoting and illustrations. The company says the same services that power ZMC are available independently to organizations that want to build their own distribution experience. "Zinnia Market Connect is proof of what's possible when you build distribution on an API-first foundation," comments Ann Nanda, Chief Growth Officer, Zinnia. "The same services powering this experience are available to any firm that wants to build their own." ZMC provides case tracking from the point a lead is identified, giving advisors visibility into where each opportunity stands as it moves through the sales process. Zinnia also plans to bring underwriting capabilities from The Policy Processor into ZMC, with the aim of allowing risk to be evaluated earlier, before a case is submitted.

Zinnia launches whole life chassis on Zahara, built for final expense volume.

Zinnia launches whole life chassis on Zahara, built for final expense volume. Published on September 17, 2026 GREENWICH, Conn. - September 17, 2026 Carriers and distributors can configure and launch whole life products in as few as three months, on a system of record built for volume Zinnia, a leading life insurance and annuity technology company, today announced the addition of a whole life chassis to its Zahara policy administration platform, giving carriers a path to launch whole life products within a quarter. The addition targets a shift already underway of final expense and other small face products pulling whole life demand toward middle and lower income households as the population ages, and carriers are writing policy volumes their systems were never designed to handle. Whole life anchors the permanent life market and continues to set records. New annualized premium reached $6.4 billion in 2025, the highest to date, and whole life held 37% of total individual life premium, the largest share of any product line, according to LIMRA. The more telling number sits underneath. Policy count has grown faster than premium for several consecutive quarters, which means carriers are writing more policies at smaller face amounts, on margins that leave no room for manual handoffs. Legacy systems were not built for that. Decades of accumulated logic for dividends, paid-up additions, policy loans and non-forfeiture options make policy data slow and inconsistent to reach. What carriers need now is straight-through processing, underwriting decisions in minutes instead of weeks, and a cost to serve that stays flat as volume climbs. Zahara is a system of record built so policy data and calculations are easy to query, not locked behind screens and overnight batch cycles. The chassis exposes both through APIs. That matters for carriers building AI and agentic strategies, which depend on fast, structured access to core policy data at scale, something most inherited platforms cannot deliver. Open access at the record level lets carriers evolve products, distribution partners and AI strategy without rebuilding the foundation underneath. "The growth here is volume, not premium. Hundreds of thousands of small face policies," said George Esposito, CEO of Zinnia. "Carriers do not win that business on systems built for one-off, custom contracts. We built this chassis so a whole life product launches in a quarter and runs at volume on day one." Carriers can configure a common set of product structures, calculations, business rules and workflows to fit their own product design, riders and distribution needs. Core capabilities. * Product configuration and calculations: Defines whole life product features, premiums, cash values, benefits, riders and policy rules, including dividends, paid up additions, policy loans and non-forfeiture options. * New business and policy issuance: Connects illustrations, case creation, policy data and issuance workflows through APIs, supporting simplified issue and high-volume patterns. * Policy administration and servicing: Supports post-issue transactions, including premium activity, status changes, reinstatements, surrenders and customer updates. * Digital experiences: Delivers policy information and servicing into customer, agent and operational tools. * Enterprise and operational integration: Connects Zahara with calculation services, case management, enterprise APIs, accounting, reporting and other operational systems. "The cost and delay in this industry usually show up in integration and testing, not in product design," said Michael Celi, Chief Product Officer at Zinnia. "We built the whole life chassis so carriers can begin testing from the earliest stages of implementation, not at the end, where most timelines break." Zahara now offers pre-built frameworks spanning annuities and life. One foundation carriers launch from across product lines, instead of building separately for each. About zinnia. Zinnia and kuvare deepen partnership as carriers demand faster, smarter technology.

Zinnia and kuvare deepen partnership as carriers demand faster, smarter technology. Zinnia, a leading life and annuity technology company, today announced the expansion of its strategic partnership with Kuvare. This expansion supports Kuvare's broader technology strategy. With this new level of engagement, Kuvare will implement its adoption of Zahara, Zinnia's modern policy administration system, and Zinnia Live, the company's digital experience platform, in addition to several core platforms supporting product innovation, digital experience, and operational efficiency across Kuvare's enterprise. The expanded engagement is designed to enable faster product launches, modernize policyholder and advisor experiences, and build the operational efficiency required to grow without proportional increases in cost or complexity. For carriers like Kuvare, the ability to move quickly from product concept to market is no longer a competitive advantage; it is a baseline expectation. This expansion reflects what Zinnia hears from carriers broadly: when the platform is right, the pace at which a carrier can innovate, distribute, and scale changes fundamentally. "Carriers today are navigating real pressure with new product demand, distribution complexity, cost efficiency, and the consumer and advisor expectation of a modern digital experience," said George Esposito, Chief Executive Officer at Zinnia. "Kuvare has been a long-standing partner, and when carriers have the right technology foundation, they can move faster, serve better, and grow more efficiently. We are proud to be the platform behind Kuvare's next phase of growth, and excited for what's ahead." The real-world impact is already visible. In April 2026, Kuvare launched Guidepath, a new fixed indexed annuity developed and deployed on Zahara, marking a significant milestone in Kuvare's broader strategy to use the platform as the engine for future product development. It represents the kind of launch speed that carriers consistently cite as critical to staying competitive in a market where distribution windows open and close quickly. "Kuvare has a dynamic and adaptive Operating Model that incorporates several world-class partners with state-of-the-art technology, and Zinnia's Zahara and Zinnia Live fit perfectly given their market capabilities" said Carlos Sierra, Chief Operating Officer at Kuvare. "Integrating those new capabilities into Kuvare's overall ecosystem is a natural step that expands our relationship with Zinnia as we continue to reduce our product development go-to-market cycle, enhance our delivery efficiency, and provide a better advisor experience with a sharp focus on customer service." For carriers evaluating their own technology roadmaps, Kuvare's experience with Zinnia offers a concrete example of what it looks like to modernize at scale without sacrificing speed or stability. This expanded partnership reflects the compounding value of a long-term technology relationship built for where the market is going.
