Requirements
  • A current LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMFT, LAMFT, or LMSW license, with a master’s degree in a human service field, postgraduate experience, and clinical endorsement.
  • Working knowledge of administrative procedures for a federally funded community health center.
  • Computer skills necessary to maintain client charts and communicate within the organization.
  • Ability to pass the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare Criminal History Unit enhanced background check.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and licensure rules and regulations.
  • Ability to participate in reciprocal feedback from counselors and clients.
  • Previous counseling experience.
  • Ability to adhere to the code of ethics for the applicable licensed discipline.
  • Knowledge of community resources and networking skills.
Responsibilities
  • Provide direct therapeutic services.
  • Maintain and audit counseling charts.
  • Attend monthly mental and behavioral health meetings.
  • Attend all staff and provider meetings and other meetings as necessary.
  • Comply with documentation standards established by state and federal guidelines.
  • Perform assessment and diagnosis.
  • Complete service notes within 48 hours of client contact.
  • Use evidence-based best-practice therapeutic models.
  • Attend and participate in off-site meetings and seminars as required.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
