About the job

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field is required.
  • Five to eight or more years of product management experience, including direct ownership of the development, deployment, and scaling of AI/ML or industrial technology products, is required.
  • Strong fluency in the AI/ML product lifecycle, including data strategy, model performance metrics, anomaly detection concepts, and MLOps deployment, is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in manufacturing or industrial operations environments, with direct exposure to plant-floor, maintenance, or quality engineering contexts, is required.
  • Ability to translate complex image-based data concepts into clear business and technical requirements is required.
  • Understanding of network and hardware/software architectures relevant to industrial AI/ML deployment is required.
  • Experience with Agile/SAFe product delivery and tools such as Jira, Rally, or equivalent is required.
  • Experience engaging manufacturing leadership and cross-functional technical teams is required.
  • Experience articulating platform and infrastructure requirements to a shared or central engineering team on behalf of a product line is required.
  • Global collaboration experience across North America, Europe, and international manufacturing organizations is required.
  • Willingness to travel globally to Ford manufacturing sites as needed is required.
Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the product strategy and multi-release roadmap for the Sight vertical, aligned with the broader ATP enterprise direction.
  • Lead customer and stakeholder interviews at Ford plants to identify high-value problem statements, such as visual defect detection, safety anomalies, and quality escapes, and translate them into clear, prioritized product requirements.
  • Partner with data science and engineering teams to define semantic layers, labeling strategy, and model performance criteria for image-based anomaly detection models.
  • Own and prioritize the Vision/Sense product backlog based on return on investment, plant demand, technical feasibility, and alignment to program milestones.
  • Define and monitor product key performance indicators, including detection accuracy, false-positive and false-negative rates, overall equipment effectiveness impact, scrap/warranty reduction, and deployment lead time.
  • Establish standardized customer feedback loops to monitor product health, adoption, and value realization after deployment.
  • Partner with the Sight/Sense launch teams to ensure products are factory-ready, support zero-integration deployment into the Ford Production System-based platform, and shorten deployment cycle time from pilot to scaled rollout.
  • Serve as the primary Sight vertical interface to the Core platform, identifying and articulating platform capabilities, data models, and machine learning/infrastructure requirements for image-based products; help shape the core infrastructure required for Sight and build shared platform roadmaps that serve Sight use cases.
  • Drive the evolution of Vision and Sense products from standalone detection toward prescriptive, closed-loop capabilities connected to Ford Production System issue-resolution and maintenance workflows.
  • Communicate product strategy, progress, and delivered value to Sight Vertical leadership, plant stakeholders, and cross-functional partners.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree or PhD in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or Technical Product Management is preferred.
  • Experience with AI/ML industrial products, including computer vision, machine vision inspection, or process quality anomaly detection at scale, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of automotive/manufacturing system integration and digital twin frameworks is preferred.
  • Familiarity with intellectual property creation, data governance, and platform/product commercialization frameworks is preferred.
  • An automotive, aerospace, or other high-complexity manufacturing background is preferred.
  • Experience navigating a matrixed corporate environment and influencing engineering, commercial, and operations stakeholders without full direct-line authority is preferred.
  • Exposure to parametric data-based detection (Sense) concepts to support future convergence of Vision and Sense into a unified Sight anomaly-detection ecosystem is preferred.

Six high-yield dividend stocks fail the payout test, from Ford to Whirlpool's 9.37% mirage

High dividend yields can hide weak payouts, and a four-step test helps separate real income from traps. It checks earnings with one-offs stripped out, full-year free cash flow against dividends, management's explanation, and whether debt funds the gap. Ford yields 4.99% and shows a trailing EPS of -$1.88, caused by $4.2B in one-time charges. Its debt-to-equity of 4.66 leaves the $0.60 dividend exposed to a downturn. Pfizer yields 6.03%, but its free cash flow yield is 5.60%. Clorox's roughly $405M of free cash flow fell short of about $601M in dividends. Whirlpool fails every step. It cut its quarterly dividend from $1.75 to $0.90 in 2025, paid no common dividend in the second quarter of 2026, and its shares are down 59.48% since the end of 2025. 3M and Dow pass, with payouts now covered by cash.

UPS, Pfizer, Kraft Heinz and Ford dividends at risk as payouts outstrip earnings

Four blue chip companies, UPS, Pfizer, Kraft Heinz, and Ford, may struggle to sustain their dividends, according to an analysis of their earnings, cash flow, and debt. UPS yields 7.02% and pays out about 121% of its GAAP earnings. Pfizer yields 6.10%, with a GAAP payout ratio of about 226%; its 2025 free cash flow of $9.076 billion fell short of $9.771 billion in dividends. Kraft Heinz yields 6.82%, but its trailing GAAP earnings per share are −$2.88 after $7.4 billion in impairments. Ford yields 4.98% after an $8.162 billion loss in 2025, and its debt-to-equity ratio is 4.66. All four companies say their payouts are safe, and each points to adjusted earnings guidance that covers the dividend.

Seven S&P 500 stocks need 200%+ rallies to reclaim all-time highs

Seven major S&P 500 companies with market capitalizations exceeding $20 billion need to rally at least 200% to reach their previous all-time highs, according to Bespoke. The struggling firms include PG&E, PayPal, Ford, Nike, Las Vegas Sands, Zoetis, and Crown Castle. Nike has experienced particularly poor performance, with the company's stock trading at record lows and its dividend yield approaching 5%. Recent quarterly results showed Nike Brand sales fell 4%, online sales dropped 13%, Converse sales declined 28%, and China sales crashed 26%. CEO Elliott Hill indicated that weakness in the sportswear market would persist. PayPal faces intense competition in the payments sector. New CEO Enrique Lores reportedly declined a buyout offer from Stripe and will focus on cost reductions and improving customer experience.
