Therapy Supervisor
About the job
- Hold an active, independent Licensed Clinical Social Worker license in New York.
- Have 3–5 years of post-graduate clinical experience.
- Have strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
- Have an interest in working in a collaborative team environment.
- Be able to balance clinical leadership responsibilities.
- Have experience with electronic health record systems.
- Take ownership of communicating and implementing company and clinical policies, procedures, and initiatives to the therapy team.
- Partner with the Practice Manager to address day-to-day operational challenges affecting clinical care and patient experience.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between clinicians and support staff.
- Coordinate care transitions and referrals within the SOL system and with external providers.
- Maintain a reduced caseload to allow time for leadership responsibilities while maintaining clinical skills.
- Provide coaching and support.
- Participate in the hiring process.
- Identify training needs for clinical team members.
- Lead case consultation sessions.
- Provide clinical supervision to associate and licensed therapists and directly manage a designated therapist cohort.
- Maintain a caseload and provide direct patient care.
- Have previous supervisory or management experience.
