  • Be permitted to work in the job's location and provide proof of employment eligibility as a condition of hire.
  • Be able to stand for extended periods during active data center floor operations.
  • Be able to safely lift and position equipment up to 50 pounds unassisted; heavier loads require team-lift support.
  • Be comfortable working at heights, including on ladders, raised platforms, and elevated data center infrastructure.
  • Be able to work in confined spaces such as under raised floors, within rack enclosures, and in cable management pathways.
  • Be comfortable in variable-temperature environments, including cold aisle containment zones.
  • Have the manual dexterity to handle small form-factor components, precision cabling, and fine connector installations.
  • Be able to push or pull equipment carts and server sleds up to 500 pounds on level surfaces.
  • Complete required data center safety training, site access procedures, and equipment handling certifications at program start.
  • Follow safety protocols, access controls, and site procedures while on the data center floor.
  • Do not work unsupervised on live infrastructure or perform tasks outside the validated scope without direct technician authorization.

Responsibilities

  • Learn to identify, handle, and document server components, rack hardware, and data center equipment under direct technician supervision.
  • Observe and assist with physical installation, cabling, and labeling of server hardware in rack enclosures under guidance.
  • Assist with hardware inventory counts, asset tagging, and equipment tracking as directed.
  • Shadow and support technicians during component replacements, hardware decommissions, and equipment staging activities.
  • Perform basic rack-and-stack tasks independently once foundational procedures have been trained and validated.
  • Learn copper and fiber cabling standards, patch cord management, and site labeling practices.
  • Assist with cable organization, dressing, and documentation under technician guidance.
  • Support assigned connectivity checks and basic cable tracing tasks.
  • Learn to use ticketing and asset management systems to log work, update hardware records, and track assigned tasks.
  • Assist with documenting equipment configurations, cable layouts, and maintenance activities under technician review.
  • Enter and update tickets independently for assigned work items once system proficiency is demonstrated.
  • Observe and learn operational standards, including shift handoff procedures, escalation practices, and incident documentation.
  • Participate in structured weekly check-ins with an assigned technician mentor to review skill progression and address questions.
  • Complete assigned training modules covering hardware fundamentals, data center operations, and safety throughout the program.
  • Shadow senior technicians during escalated incidents, complex deployments, and hardware troubleshooting activities.
  • Engage during shadowing activities and build technical knowledge throughout the three-month program.
  • Progress through the structured supervision stages: orientation and shadowing in weeks 1–3; assisted execution in weeks 4–7; supervised independence in weeks 8–10; and demonstrated competency in weeks 11–12, subject to validated scope and technician oversight.

Desired Qualifications

  • Participants who complete the program with strong evaluations will be considered for the early talent pipeline.

About the Company

Nebius

Runs GPU clouds for AI training and deployment

Nebius runs an AI cloud for developers, researchers, and enterprises that train models and put them into production. Its AI Cloud combines GPU computing, storage, networking, and managed services, while Token Factory runs models through an API so teams do not manage the underlying servers. Customers rent computing and storage at usage rates or reserve capacity, choosing resources that fit short experiments or sustained production workloads. Beyond the cloud, the group owns Avride, which develops autonomous vehicles and delivery robots, and TripleTen, which teaches technical skills for people changing careers. The publicly listed group is headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
