Requirements
  • A college or university degree in a related field is required.
  • Knowledge and skills developed through less than two years of work experience in a related job discipline are required.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • A valid United States driver's license is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Slate CRM is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication is preferred.
  • Presentation skills are preferred.
  • Customer service skills are preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Manage a domestic or international territory, serve as the primary evaluator of applications from that territory, and participate as a member of the admissions committee.
  • Conduct high school visits, attend college fairs, and host presentations virtually or by traveling to the assigned territory.
  • Deliver information sessions and specialized presentations, and participate in virtual and on-campus events for prospective students.
  • Respond to inquiries by phone and email, providing a positive experience for people interacting with the department.
  • Review first-year, transfer, and summer program applications.
  • Take on additional office responsibilities, which may include working with current student employees; supporting low-income, under-represented, and first-generation applicants; contributing to print and web publications; managing social media; and supporting programs and events.
  • Be available on weekends and evenings throughout the year for application review, travel, and admissions events.
  • Travel and recruit in an assigned geography, assisting with planning and delivering public presentations, special events, and other recruitment activities.
  • Maintain relationships with individuals involved in the recruitment process, including routinely counseling students and parents about the admission process.
  • Perform other related work as needed.
