About the Job

Requirements

  • At least 7 years at a top-tier consulting firm or in an enterprise technology services environment, with a track record of delivering complex software initiatives end-to-end, including scoping, execution, and launch. Startup or agency experience is a plus but does not substitute for enterprise consulting experience.
  • Experience managing enterprise client relationships worth $1 million or more and growing accounts through expanded engagements.
  • Deep experience working directly with enterprise clients in a business-to-business or services environment, managing relationships across C-suite, product, and engineering stakeholders, navigating ambiguity, and maintaining trust in high-pressure, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Ability to surface risks early, introduce structure, improve team operations, and take ownership of completing work across structured and ambiguous environments.
  • Comfort operating on-site with clients during periodic embedded engagements.
  • Daily use of artificial intelligence tools to automate workflows such as status updates, reporting, and communications; not actively using artificial intelligence is unacceptable. Deep technical artificial intelligence expertise is not required.
  • Technical fluency to work closely with engineers, understand system constraints, and translate between technical execution and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Own delivery end-to-end by scoping projects with clients and engineering teams, defining roadmaps, breaking work into phases, identifying dependencies, and maintaining momentum across large-scale, multi-workstream engagements as priorities shift.
  • Define workstreams and operating cadence in complex environments, and own the narrative of each engagement by explaining the impact, tradeoffs, and next steps associated with deliverables.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders by tracking decision-makers, influencers, and blockers; align product, engineering, and leadership; and manage enterprise processes, reporting expectations, and cross-team dependencies while driving progress.
  • Embed periodically on-site with client teams, understand internal dynamics, and drive outcomes within the client environment; join during the sales handoff, embed early, and maintain client commitment to the engagement.
  • Provide consistent, structured status updates covering progress, risks, and upcoming decisions, and raise risks early with clear mitigation paths.
  • Unblock teams and drive execution by surfacing obstacles, facilitating planning, owning scope boundaries, managing change requests, and ensuring meetings have clear agendas and actionable outcomes.
  • Translate engineering constraints clearly to clients and ensure engineers understand business priorities and tradeoffs.
  • Coach engineers to work as independent consultants by reinforcing proactive communication, client ownership, and confidence navigating enterprise environments.
  • Assess team processes, identify inefficiencies, and introduce improvements such as planning cadences, demo rhythms, artificial intelligence workflows, and documentation standards to improve delivery velocity and quality.
  • Ensure progress, decisions, and deliverables are documented and accessible across stakeholders.
  • Drive adoption of artificial intelligence within engagements by identifying productivity and client-outcome opportunities and setting standards for day-to-day team use.
  • Identify and drive expansion opportunities, including additional scope, teams, or long-term engagements, by building client trust and applying strategic insight; act as a strategic partner who understands client business, product goals, and constraints and guides decisions that improve outcomes.
  • Ensure knowledge transfer, documentation, and process improvements leave clients better able to operate long-term.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working on artificial intelligence-driven products or internal tooling, including familiarity with large language model integrations, copilots, or artificial-intelligence-enabled workflows.
  • Strong understanding of modern development workflows, including artificial-intelligence-assisted coding, continuous integration and continuous delivery, and scalable engineering practices.
  • Experience with forward deployed engineering or embedded delivery models.
